Fire Extinguisher Technician – Tacoma

We’re seeking a dedicated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our dynamic team! You’ll be the backbone of our service and maintenance department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of teams from the accounting department to designers and managers contributing to the success of our projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the readiness of life-saving fire extinguishers through meticulous inventory, inspection, management and maintenance
  • Be our on-call guardian, ready to leap into action whenever and wherever duty calls
  • Master the art of fire extinguisher lifecycle management, overseeing crucial 6 and 12-year service intervals
  • Flex your versatility by supporting various departmental initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Industry Experience: none – WILL TRAIN ON THE JOB
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (Fire Safety Academy graduate a plus!)
  • Physical Skills: Possess the strength of a true hero – able to lift and carry 50 lbs with ease
  • Safety Driven: Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety protocols, because lives depend on your vigilance
  • Team-Minded: Bring an infectious positive energy that ignites team spirit and collaboration
  • Compliance: Drug screening and background checks will only be conducted after a conditional job offer is made. We evaluate criminal history based on its relevance to the job duties. Note: this is a safety sensitive role requiring a zero-substance (including marijuana/THC) drug screen result.
  • Availability: Able to work 40 hours/week plus possess a spotless driving record and valid license so you can arrive on time and in style

Compensation: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
