Join our Corporate Accounting Team!

·         Construction accounting function for multiple divisions

·         Responsible for working with project teams to prepare cost to complete contract schedules

·         Produce month end closing schedules and journal entries

·         Prepare monthly reconciliations

·         Understand and learn multiple facets of accounting from payroll and accounts payable to inventory management

·         Learn the billing procedures for percent complete construction contracts. Assist with processing as needed.

·         Willingness to learn and assist the accounting team in multiple areas.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required

·         At least 3 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)

·         Detail-oriented and strong follow-up skills

·         Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

·         Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency

·         Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills

·         Proficient in construction accounting software (Viewpoint/Spectrum) a plus

·         Desire to grow and willingness to learn

This role has competitive compensation ranging from $50,000 to $90,000 or more depending on experience, overtime hours worked and bonuses.
