Day Works Project Coordinator

Why You'll Love This Role: We're seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic professional to join our Quick Response Team (QRT) as a Project Coordinator. You'll orchestrate small to medium-sized fire alarm tenant improvement projects and oversee crucial service repairs. In this multifaceted role, you'll be the linchpin between our skilled technicians, valued customers, and project stakeholders, ensuring seamless operations and top-notch service delivery.

What You'll Do:

  • Project Management: Ensure that fire alarm service projects are being completed on time, within budget and in line with safety requirements
  • Liaison: Serve as the communication hub between alarm technicians, end users and contractors to maintain schedules and ensure that our field team is provided with necessary SOWs, drawings, permits, material and contacts
  • Cross-functional: Work with our Service Coordinators and Operations Managers to stage service repair parts, procure materials and equipment and review project costs and efficiency models
  • Data Management: Manage data, reporting and work orders using our construction accounting software (Viewpoint/Spectrum)
  • Collaboration: Work alongside a close-knit team to oversee daily operations and continually seek ways to improve process efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2+ years of project management or project coordination experience
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to expert level with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the construction industry or commercial fire alarm tenant improvements is a plus but not required
  • Attention to Detail: Strong follow-up skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Availability: Full-time availability (40 hours per week, 7am start time)
  • Compliance: Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and reference check
